Nick Best is the Deputy Chairman and Director responsible for Laws and is the current President of the New South Wales Country Rugby League Referees' Association. A referee of thirty-five years standing, Nick was active in the Group Seven competition for twenty-six of those years and is credited with over 600 first grade fixtures and an International appointment.
Nick is a life member of the Group Seven Referees' Association, the New South Wales Country Rugby League Referees' Association and the New South Wales Country Rugby League.
In his earlier years Nick played for the Wollongong Club in the Illawarra competition where he turned out as a centre three-quarter.
