Steve Betts is the Chief Executive Officer of the ARLRA and is also the Director responsible for Finance. He is a Life Member of the New South Wales Rugby League Referees' Association and also a Life Member and Past President of the North Sydney District Referees' Association, his "home" Association.
During an active career spanning 34 years, Steve reached the highest levels as a Touch Judge in NRL / ARL Competitions, being appointed to numerous First Grade Grand Finals, State-of-Origin Fixtures and an Australia v Great Britain Test.
As the CEO of the ARLRA he has the onerous task of ensuring that all referees in the 70 affiliated Associations are well informed of developments and policy concerning refereeing in Australia. |
