Steve Brown is the ninth 'independent' Director and is responsible for Communication. He has been a member of the Illawarra Referees' Association for twenty six years and is also a life member of that Association.
A Level 4 referee, Steve has refereed to first grade in the Illawarra competition and was also a representative touch judge having officiated in numerous interdivisional fixtures and three NSW City v Country matches. He has served in various capacities on the Illawarra Executive Committee and was the publicity officer for that Association for sixteen years. He has also developed and maintained the web sites for both the Illawarra Referees and the ARLRA.
Off the field Steves's other interests are motor cycle riding (Harley Davidson of course), camping and fishing. |
