REPRESENTATIVE REFEREES

Another very successful Affiliated National Championships series was conducted in Perth during the period 8th to 10th June 2007. Referees were chosen from the affiliated states for both the National Championships and the Under 18 trials which were used to select an Affiliated States Open Representative squad to participate in the Opens Championships in Townsville. The referees were coordinated by ARLRA Board member Martin Weekes who was assisted by Glenn Creamer (NTRLRA), Brian Michalowsky (VRLRA) and Tony Danks (NSWRL). Congratulations to all who were involved.

Congratulations also to those referees who represented at the Australian Primary Schools Under 12 Championships in Sydney from 4-11 August 2007. The officials were co-ordinated by ARLRA Board Member Les Matthews with great assistance from Doug Keen and Jack O'Sullivan. Board members Kevin Riolo and Steve Brown also attended on the Tuesday night and Wednesday. It was a great week of primary football and all of the appointed officials contributed greatly to its success. Well done to all.
