John Topp is the Executive Officer of the QRL Referees’ Board and such is one of the two QLD Representatives on the ARLRA Board. John has been a member of the Brisbane Rugby League Referees Association since 1980 and was awarded Life Membership of that body in 2002. He held the position of Hon Secretary of the QRL South East Division Referees for ten years. He refereed over 200 First Grade and QLD Cup matches as well QLD v NSW u19’s, 2 x City v Country and 6 Reserve Grade and numerous under age Grand Finals. He is a currently a Level 2 Coach of Match Officials and is part of the QRL Referees’ Academy Coaching Panel.
